What is history: it is the echo of the past to the future, the reflection of the future on the past. - Hugo
The introduction of Liu Sheng, the King of Zhongshan jing in the Western Han Dynasty, is very eye-catching: "Sheng is a good person and a good wine, and there are more than one hundred and twenty sons. This Liu Sheng is the recorded patriarch in Chinese history with the largest number of heirs, with more than 120 sons, which is a staggering number. But if Liu Sheng's example is compared in the world, it may not be enough to see, and look at the Moroccan Sultan Moulay Ismail, who was later called "stallion", this child is a total of 867.

Ismail was the second sultan of the Alawite dynasty of Morocco, the Alawite dynasty (1666–present) was an Islamic feudal dynasty founded by the Arabs of Morocco, founded by Moulay Rashid, of whom Ismail was his brother. Ismail was not supposed to inherit the throne, but Rashid died unexpectedly not long after his reign, and he became the new chief.
At that time, Rashid was not just a brother of Ismail, but Mulay Halan of Tafiral and Ahmed ibn Mahrraz of Marrakech were all eyeing the throne. Fortunately, Ismail's leadership ability is very strong, and he himself is a general, relying on the use of the army to break these rebels one by one, and in 5 years, he pacified all the subordinates with rebellious hearts.
Not only that, Ismail also formed a huge army of black slaves to recover the lost land and expand externally. In 1684, Ismail's army even defeated the British, forcing the British to withdraw from tangier, where they had previously occupied, after which Larash and Alassir were also taken back by the brave Ismail.
In terms of economy, the strong sultan also attached great importance to it, and he despised sea robbery, and only hoped to develop the economy through normal trade. He proved right, Morocco was more popular in foreign trade than the risky sea raids, and Saharan trade routes flourished again.
It can be said that as the chief, Ismail was indeed impeccable, he led Morocco to a strong and prosperous, so that this small coastal country gradually developed. Yet Ismail's ambitions and desires were manifested not only in power, but also in his marriage. It is reported that Ismail's wealth is piled up, and he is not restrained in life, not only indulging in sound and color, but also marrying more than 500 wives and concubines.
These wives and concubines ranged from nobles to commoners, and even had various skin colors and different races, which were almost comparable to Sima Yan of ''Yangche Wangxing''. And none of these wives and concubines were left out in the cold, and they bore him 525 sons and 342 daughters, a number that no one can break.
Not only that, Ismail also proposed to Louis XIV that he wanted to marry his most beautiful daughter, Princess Conte, although the significance of this move was mostly in the alliance between the two countries, but his yearning for beauty was also evident. Of course, the Bourbons did not look down on this small country, and in the end Louis XIV resolutely rejected the king, who had more than 500 wives and concubines.
Surprisingly, even though he was addicted to wine, Ismail's body was still very healthy. He reigned for a total of 55 years, lived for 82 years, and during his reign, the country was strong and economically prosperous, which was also a rare winner in life.
