On 6 January, the official website of Bournemouth club in the Championship announced that the team has loaned young full-back Laird from Manchester United until the end of the season.
Laird, 20, plays as a right-back and played for Swansea on loan in the first half of the season, making 21 appearances and four assists. He joined the Manchester United academy at the age of 15 and made his debut for the Manchester United first team in an official competition in December 2019.
Laird became Bournemouth's first signing for the winter window.
