On January 5th, sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Yantan District Committee of Zigong City, Sichuan Province, the Cultural and Historical Committee of the District CPPCC Committee, and undertaken by the District Calligraphers Association, the "Welcome to the New Year - Exhibition of Yanyun Cultural Calligraphy Works in Yantan District" was launched at the Yantan District CPPCC Calligraphy and Painting Institute. More than 50 calligraphy works on display are all ancient salt transport inscriptions along the beach area, recreating the salt transport culture of Zigong, the salt capital of the past thousand years.

"It is difficult to go up to the salt road, it is difficult to go to the blue sky." The beach area is located in the interior of southern Shu, since ancient times, the traffic is inconvenient, the waterway and river are narrow and the water is shallow and difficult to travel; the overland mountain is steep and steep, winding and rugged. The area along the beach is a place of salt production, and it is also famous for transporting salt by water and land. At the peak of salt production, there were many cranes on the Huangpoling Mountains, salt boats in the Puxi River, and salt carriers on the ancient salt road. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, "increasing production and transporting", the Yonggong Gate and the Jiyun Gate became the two major characteristic symbols of salt transportation along the beach; the overland road took Maotoupu (now Yong'an Town) as the salt transport station, which was an important hub and distribution center of the ancient salt road in Jingsu (Artesian Well Yisu Province), and the salt transport history and culture that was in line with the well salt culture thus became the foundation of the salt transport culture along the beach.

On the occasion of retiring the old and welcoming the new, in order to better inherit the history and culture of salt transportation and enhance cultural self-confidence. Sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Yantan District CPC Committee, the Cultural, Cultural and Historical Study Committee of the District CPPCC Committee, the District Bureau of Culture and Tourism, undertaken by the Calligraphy and Painting Art Institute of the CPPCC District committee and the District Calligraphers Association, and co-organized by the District Salt Merchants Art Research Society, the "Welcome to the New Year - Exhibition of Salt Transport Cultural Calligraphy Works in Yantan District" was held. The exhibition invited more than 50 works of CPPCC members, calligraphy enthusiasts, middle school students and municipal calligraphy masters to participate in the exhibition. In order to inherit and carry forward the traditional culture along the beach area, and enrich the cultural life of the masses during the Spring Festival, it has left a strong chapter. The exhibition will run until March 30.

The calligraphy works of the cover journalist are also in the exhibition.
