At the beginning of the new year in 2022, the "'Chinese' New Concept Poster Exhibition" was launched at the Lingnan Impression Garden Art Museum in Guangzhou.
The exhibition is curated by Zeng Zhenwei, a well-known designer and chairman of the Design Professional Committee of Guangdong Packaging Technology Association, sponsored by Guangdong Packaging Technology Association and Guangdong Packaging Technology Association Design Professional Committee, and jointly organized by Guangzhou Lingnan Impression Park and Guangdong Packaging Technology Association Design Professional Committee.

The exhibition invited 33 top designers from 17 regions across the country to create theme posters with the new concept of "Chinese", and the activity aims to encourage designers and artists to carry out design views from the metaphysical level through the means of creative design of posters, to think about the visual connotation of the new concept of "Chinese" from the sociological, anthropological and other levels, and to show the designer's cognitive interpretation and image expression of the contemporary concept of "Chinese".
In the academic dialogue session of "Chinese New Atmosphere, Chinese Temperament" after the opening ceremony, Zeng Zhenwei and Zhong Minghua, dean of the School of Education of Sun Yat-sen University, Fang Xiaocong, music consultant of the Third Asian Youth Congress, Peng Wenbin, artistic director of Guangzhou International Art Fair, Yang Binping, founder of Youzhi Culture and Creativity, He Haoyu, executive deputy secretary general of the Design Professional Committee of Guangdong Packaging Technology Association, and other experts and scholars launched a "design and cross-field" dialogue, expounding the understanding and cognition of the contemporary meaning of "Chinese" from different fields and perspectives. He also put forward his views on how to spread the cultural image of "Chinese" and tell the rich story of "Chinese", combined with their respective professions.
According to the organizers, the poster exhibition presents a new image of diversity, color, sunshine and positivity through the multi-angle and diversified interpretation of contemporary "Chinese" and the visual communication medium, which is a joint voice that unites the strength of Chinese design.
Guangzhou Lingnan Impression Park Station is the first exhibition of the "Chinese" New Concept Poster Exhibition in the country, and it will also meet with audiences from more places.
