José Barria, who was in the away commentary earlier, spoke about his partner, lone ranger dirk Nowitzki. Nowitzki led the team to an NBA championship in 2011. The moderator asked Barria what he thought of Nowitzki's determination at the time.
Barria responded: "He knew we had a big chance that season. When we eliminated the Lakers in the second round, our confidence increased greatly. He didn't want us to lose that opportunity. Our projection ability is excellent.
"I think in those years he was the best player in the league and the best player in the league was in our squad."
