Only by seeing a corrupt society can we have the idea of creating a new era. In 1927, Chairman Li Xiannian led his hometown peasants to participate in the jute uprising, thus officially joining the revolutionary wave. Li Xiannian, who threw himself into the army, quickly showed his amazing military talent and made amazing achievements. During the Long March, Comrade Li Xiannian destroyed more than 14,000 enemy troops in the Huangmaoya area in 1933, and in 1935, completely annihilated Hu Zongnan's 49th Division.
During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Comrade Li Xiannian successively served as commander of the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army and chairman of the CPC Eyu Border Region Committee. He worked for a long time in the base area behind enemy lines, played an indispensable role in fighting against the Japanese and supporting the Nationalist army in combat, and was a well-known communist tiger general at that time.
The time soon came to 1946, and the foreign enemy was destroyed, but the national thief was not eliminated. At this time, the Chiang Kai-shek clique revealed its own reactionary nature in a vain attempt to start another war. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China urgently ordered Li Xiannian to restrain the 300,000 Nationalist troops attacking the Liberated Areas of the Central Plains. With the great wisdom and courage of a proletarian revolutionary, Comrade Li Xiannian successfully carried out this task of the Party Central Committee and contained the Kuomintang army for ten months. In 1947, Comrade Li Xiannian successfully met with Liu Deng's army in Guangshan, Henan Province, and participated in the reconstruction of Dabie Mountain. In 1948, when the Huaihai Campaign began, Comrade Li Xiannian returned to the Central Plains Military Region as the second deputy commander, responsible for the logistics of the whole army.
With the efforts of countless heroes, the People's Republic of China was founded.

He has served as secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee, mayor of Wuhan, vice premier of the State Council and minister of finance.
