The film "Zero Degree Limit" was directed by Ye Weimin (who had directed "People on the Road"), with Wang Ziyuan as the chief producer and Liang Ying as the producer. The film takes snowboarding as the starting point, telling the story of top skier Ling Feng, who returns to his hometown after many years of absence after being frustrated in a competition, and finds his original love and stands on the Winter Olympic track in the relationship with the enlightened teacher and a group of young snow friends.
As the first snowboard movie in China to be filmed on the Winter Olympic venue, "Zero Degree Limit" is director Ye Weimin's first challenge to competitive sports theme films. Speaking of the original intention of creation, Ye Weimin frankly said, "We have more than 1.4 billion people in China, but there are relatively few ice and snow sports enthusiasts, and I hope that this film can ignite everyone's enthusiasm for ice and snow in advance when greeting the Winter Olympics, and take the audience to fully experience the beautiful Chinese snow field." As for the biggest difficulty in the shooting process, Ye Weimin said that there are a large number of action shots in "Zero Degree Limit", and the particularity of skiing itself determines that the actual shooting effect of each action is uncontrollable, and the preset effect is often difficult to accurately capture.
The 24th Winter Olympics is about to officially enter the "China Moment", and the live-action filming locations of "Zero Degree Limit" include Secret Garden Genting Park, Taiwu Ski Town, Fulong Ski Resort, Duolemeidi Ski Resort, Wanlong Ski Resort and other well-known snow resorts in Zhangjiakou area of Hebei Province and the snow sports competition venues of this Winter Olympics, which is the first in the history of domestic films.
