Analysts say the iPhone sold more than 40 million units in the holiday season: the chinese market has the strongest purchasing power

The fourth quarter is usually the peak season for Apple's mobile phone sales, one is because the new model has just been released and it is still hot, and the other is to catch up with many holidays in the West, such as Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas and so on.

According to Daniel Ives, a Wedbush analyst, the results of the supply chain inspection show that in the holiday season from October to December, Apple sold 40 million iPhones13.

He further said that there is actually an unmet demand for 12 million units, and these orders will be resolved in the first half of this year as supply chain problems improve.

From a regional point of view, in the past 12 months, the Chinese market has performed the most eye-catching, analysts said that the reason is that existing users have set off a wave of upgrades because of the iPhone 12/13.

Interestingly, the report's prediction that Apple will become the first $3 trillion company by 2022 has been fulfilled, and Ives believes that services such as Apple Music, iCloud, Apple TV+, and Apple Fitness+ will be worth $1.5 trillion.
