Since 2020, Panasonic has been bringing innovation in VR to the annual CES (International Consumer Electronics Exhibition).

Today, Panasonic officially launched three VR devices at the pre-CES 2022 conference and announced that it will enter the meta-universe field from the perspective of hardware.

The main body of the VR three-piece set released by Panasonic is the VR glasses MeganeX, which is also equipped with the wearable hot and cold somatosensory device Pebble Feel and the Bluetooth microphone Mutalk, which are expected to go on sale this spring.

According to the official introduction, meganeX is a VR headset equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR1 processor, designed in the shape of glasses, pursuing a lightweight weight, weighing about 250 grams (excluding cables).

Pebble Feel is a wearable hot and cold somatosensory device that can provide players with different temperature experiences according to changes in the virtual environment, allowing users to "know cold and know heat" in the metaverse, which is a supplement to VR glasses and can provide more somatosensory on-the-spot experience in addition to vision and hearing.

Mutalk is a Bluetooth microphone that can keep the sound from leaking out, and needs to be fixed to the mouth to prevent disturbing family or neighbors in the case of loud chat.
