The Picture Book of the Three Kingdoms contains a total of 83 watercolor works related to the contents of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, recreating the magnificent era of blood. The beautiful scenery of the Central Plains was gradually restored in his pen to a scene of the Three Kingdoms with flames and heroes. The words are interwoven with the chatter of the city at present, and the white walls and black tiles of Suzhou people's houses and the vast mountains of The Sword Gate Pass are interspersed in the scene of the ancient battlefield of Jinge Iron Horse. At the same time, the author also accompanies each work with an illustrative historical essay, so that the book presents a dual reading experience that can deeply understand the history of the Three Kingdoms through reading, and can also feel the style of the times through appreciation.

This 10,000-kilometer mileage, the author along these historical lands, into history: Lu Xun'an's quiet and quiet Songjiang country road, Liu Bei's long-distance picture of the Eastern Crusade, the peasant family busy harvesting cotton on the ancient battlefield of Guandu... Far away from the battlefield, there are more idyllic scenery, full of pastoral joy.

Mitsuya Anno's pen not only has scenes and feelings, but also thinks and reflects on human civilization. In this book, Mitsuya Ono explores civilization and culture, expressing her own view of history. It is not only limited to the disputes between the three kingdoms, but also the rise and fall of dynasties and the direction of civilization. Stand in the position of being as objective and neutral as possible. "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, as well as past wars, have become seeds of sorrow." In stating history, the author is miserable. "From the Time of the Three Kingdoms to the present day, human behavior has been the same. This is not so much a history of the rise and fall of heroes as a history of humanity full of desire. ”
