In ancient times, there were no foreign embassies and offices, as it is now. At that time, national diplomacy relied on moving around each other and sending emissaries to each other. Wang Xuance visited India several times on behalf of the Tang Dynasty at that time.

Due to the unprecedented strength of the Tang Dynasty, in 641 AD, Tianzhu also sent envoys to the Tang Dynasty to present gifts to the Son of Heaven for peace. Later, li Yi retired, and Wang Xuance was promoted to be a zheng envoy. In 647 A.D., he took 30 people on another trip to India, but this time there was an accident.

It turned out that when Wang Xuance arrived in Tianzhu, just in time for the death of the Indian king LuoYi, for a time, there was a great chaos in india, and a minister named Alona Shun had been coveting the throne for a long time, and he quickly took the throne. He didn't care about the diplomatic relations established by King Tuluoyi before, as long as it was a gift from diplomatic envoys from various countries, he would grab it in his own hands.
At that time, Wang Xuance was also robbed by him, and in a hurry, Wang Xuance could only leave the financial report and 30 of his subordinates to retreat first. It wasn't until he fled to tubo that he breathed a sigh of relief. At that time, Tubo belonged to the Tang Dynasty's vassal state, and in theory, Wang Xuance could have allowed him to send troops to counterattack Tianzhu. Watching his 30 brothers die in vain, Wang Xuance decided to borrow troops from Tubo and attack Tianzhu.
He really let him borrow it, and soon Wang Xuance raised 1,200 Tibetan troops and more than 7,000 Nepalese troops. Immediately, a huge counter-offensive coalition was formed and went to Tianzhu to take revenge.
Unexpectedly, Tianzhu's army was simply vulnerable, and in just 3 days, Wang Xuance's troops attacked the city all the way and breached Tianzhu's capital City of Luocheng, and the usurper Alonashun was captured by Wang Xuance's deputy general Jiang Shirensheng, and also captured his princess and son. It can be said that Tianzhu was beaten by Wang Xuance to destroy the country.
However, in the end, Wang Xuance did not take over the entire Tianzhu, but left Alona a way to live. After that, Tianzhu no longer dared to underestimate the Tang Dynasty emissaries, and paid tribute to the Tang Dynasty every year, for fear that Wang Xuance would call again.
Later, Wang Xuance successfully returned to The Tang and told Emperor Taizong of Tang about this matter. However, Tang Taizong did not feel anything, because the national strength of the Tang Dynasty at that time was really too strong, and he felt that the elimination of such a small country as Tianzhu was not something worth showing off at all. However, on the surface, wang Xuance still had to be rewarded, after all, it was also a fight for data. Therefore, he was made a doctor of the Scattered Dynasty, but wang Xuance's diplomatic deeds were not known to the people of the Tang Dynasty at all.
In a sense, Wang Xuance's diplomatic attitude of "killing one of my compatriots, hitting a city, killing ten of us, and destroying your country" undoubtedly made him the first iron-blooded diplomat in our country throughout history.
