Player of the Offensive Group & Rookie of the Year: Jamal Chase, Tigers
It's been a day since Chase's battle to make history, but it's still bloody to recall. 12 passes and 11 receivers, 266 yards in a single game in franchise history and league rookie history, and three touchdowns.
The best goal of the game came from a simple outside turning route, when Chase received the ball and almost dodged all defenders and tens of thousands of spectators across the Chiefs with a swing, hung up six gears and sprinted away, pulling the score back to a touchdown difference.
Chase blasted down 6.05 yards per gear! The quarterback rating that passed to him was 158.3 out of 158! Five times five-five open catches to compete for four of the goals.
Game turning point: Tigers' third gear 27 yards desperate connection
Chase's other highlight moment was not a touchdown, but with more than three minutes left in the game, the two sides were equally divided, and if the three 27-yard conversion failed, the ball would be abandoned to Mahoms, and the result can be imagined.
Instead of trying to carry the ball into the free-kick zone with a short pass, Burrow directly challenged the vertical head-to-head of the right wing Chase, a back-shoulder pass that was called a flying fairy, and the first attack! The offense continues! Mahomes looked at the ball and sighed!
Tiger win probability: +25%
Player of the defensive group of the best: DJ Reed, Seahawks
Reed finished the best performance of his four-year career against the Lions. Of course, Lions bench guard Tim Boyle has limited levels, but the 2018 fifth-round cornerbacks came to the rescue in defensive crosses.
The 175-centimeter cornerback completed two interceptions this week. One of the balls was cut off by knocking the ball off 188 cm Hadarell Hodge.
The other goal was the result of a perfect execution of the cover2 zone defensive discipline.
Reid also had a destructive pass, two anti-pass interceptions, and only one first attack. The final result was a PFF pass-proof rating of 92.8.
Best Offensive Front: Los Angeles Lightning
Facing the Mustang defensive front, the Lightning Offensive Front burst into battle this week. Their team's pass protection PFF score reached 86.3, with 33 pass protection only releasing 2 pressures, and more than half of the gears were pure pass protection files with two standing positions.
Rookie left striker Lashaun Slater finished with the highest rating of his rookie career. He maintained an all-out victory in pass protection and did not release pressure for the second week in a row.
Secret Superstar: Ardenne-Kyi, 49
Arden-Ki is a rotational passer who has rarely made a splash this season. His total PFF rating of 61.2 and punch score of 69.0 in the first 16 weeks can only be said to be so-so.
This week he only got 17 crosses, but completed 7 pressures - 1 tackle, 3 impacts and 3 hasty passes, and the pass win rate was a terrifying 47.4%. As a result, Ardennes-Kee received a cross-pass rating of 94.2, a four-year career high.
Best Performance: The Old Man Kills
The Pirates' performance this week was a nightmare, and Antonio Brown's wayward departure from the scene was another highlight of infighting in history.
But the old man is the old man, and he still has a handle on the jet. Brady made four big heart passes throughout the game, and the PFF pass score was also in the league's top three. With only 22 seconds left and four points behind, Brady looked away from the security guard, patiently waited for the route to develop, and then completed the kill with a long pass to the right wing.
Highlights of the week have been plentiful, such as Derek Carr dodging chases and delivering a fatal blow that helps the Raiders retain their playoff hopes:
There were also two tributes to classic catches, the first of which was the Cardinals' Secret Service, and Jonathan Ward borrowed his opponent's helmet to pay tribute to the 2008 Super Bowl David Tilly's helmet catch:
Steelers Hall of Fame runner Franco Harris would never have imagined that his "flawless catch" would be recreated in a fat version by Vikings center Garrett Bradbury fifty years later:
