Xi'an and even Shaanxi is an important part of BYD's layout, BYD has built a factory in Xi'an very early on, and on December 5 this year, BYD new energy auto parts industrial park project signing and groundbreaking ceremony was held in Xi'an High-tech Zone, the project plans a total investment of 15 billion yuan, is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2024, after reaching production will achieve an annual output value of about 70 billion yuan.
The project is located in Xi'an High-tech Zone Caotang Base and Jixian Garden, covering a total area of about 2,890 acres, with a total construction area of about 1.3 million square meters, mainly to build electric assembly factories, motor factories, Seiko centers, gear factories, electronic control factories, power supply factories, brake factories and other core components of new energy vehicles production plants, and build high-speed test tracks supporting BYD Xi'an R&D Center.
