On January 22-23, 2022, a picture book story concert specially created for children will be presented at the Qintai Concert Hall.

The content of the concert comes from the "Classical Music Enlightenment Piano Performance Sketch Collection" issued by the German professional music publishing organization Schott Music Group, which is dedicated to children's musical enlightenment. The repertoire covers highlights of world-famous operas and symphonies. Each clip is accompanied by an engaging, vivid storyline and imaginative rich drawings, easy to understand, widely praised by professionals and loved by children.

In the first half of this concert, the "Symphonic Fairy Tale" "Peter and the Wolf" and the musical picture book version of Tchaikovsky's ballet of the same name, "The Nutcracker", will take everyone into the world of fairy tales. Sergei Prokofiev, one of the world's most important composers of the 20th century, was invited by the Central Children's Theatre in Moscow to compose this symphonic work written for children, "Peter and the Wolf", which has now become one of the classics of children's music, bringing endless joy and inspiration to children of different ages; and the characters of mouse soldiers and candy fairies in "The Nutcracker" are full of childlike fun, allowing children to enter the world of classical music with ease and happiness in the story.

In the second half, Vivaldi's world-famous classic "Four Seasons" was his most popular work. The four concertos in "Four Seasons" are composed of three movements of fast, slow and fast, which vividly describe the alternating changes of the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. Nie Chen, piano

He is a professional piano lecturer at Wuhan Conservatory of Music, the highest diploma in piano performance from Mozart University of Music in Salzburg, Austria, and is currently a doctoral student in opera art direction in the Conducting Department of the Central Conservatory of Music. He was the piano art director of the National Centre for the Performing Arts.

While studying at the Freiburg Conservatory, he gave concerts all over Germany and was once commented by the German Baden newspaper as "singing with the heart on the piano". In 2013, he won the first prize in the Bartók International Piano Competition in Vienna and was invited by the Cultural Center of the Hungarian Embassy in Austria to give a concert in Budapest.

Graduated with honors from the Department of Music Education of Tianjin Conservatory of Music, with kindergarten teacher qualifications and senior middle school music teacher qualifications.
