It is said that around the time of the Qing Guangxu Xuan reunification (1906-1910), the grandfather of Qi Haizhou, a native of Huangpi County, Hubei Province, began to pick up burdens and sell dumplings, noodles and cakes on the railway side of The Limen in Hankou. Because the cakes he made were soft and delicious, the sweetness was suitable, and it was very distinctive, many people came to buy it every day, so he gradually started his family and saved a sum of money.

In the fourteenth year of the Republic of China (1925), Qi Haizhou and his father opened a small restaurant in The site of Dazhi Road in Hankou, mainly engaged in dumplings, flour noodles and snacks, and officially hung up the sign of "Qi Wanshun", implying that everything was smooth for the Qi family and the wealth was great. This area is close to the Hankou Dazhimen Railway Station, passengers are in need of drinking fast food snacks, and the "Qi Wanshun" small restaurant with enthusiasm, convenience, inexpensive and good taste, the small shop once had a booming business.

After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in 1937, Wuhan fell and the store could not be operated. The young Qi Haizhou fanggang wanted to sign up for the army to resist Japan, but his grandfather, because he was the "only seedling" of the Qi family, forced him out of the procession that was about to go out, and sent someone to send him back to his hometown of Huangpi County. In 1939, Qi Haizhou returned to its original location to continue business and changed its name to "Fuxing and Noodle Restaurant". Since then, he has co-founded "Old Yin Zhen Lou", "New Yin Zhen Lou", "Yin Xue" and other restaurants. In April 1945, Fuxing and noodle shops were bombed to rubble by the Japanese army.

After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, in order to revitalize the family business, Qi Haizhou reopened the restaurant opposite the original site and restored the name of "Qi Wanshun". At that time, it was still mainly engaged in dumplings, and also engaged in Hunan rice noodles, noodles, and brine dishes. Because "Qi Wanshun" and "Laotong City" are adjacent, in order to compete, they will not hesitate to spend huge sums of money to decorate the shop and hire Wang Zuchun, Lei Xuecheng, Yu Hanqing, Zou An'an, Ruan Yongchang, Yu Chunshan and other chefs to take charge of the stove. Upstairs, it operates Jingsu-style dishes, and downstairs it deals with snacks such as bean skins, roasted plums, pot stickers, and hair cakes, with unique flavors and charms.

After the founding of New China, Qi Haizhou became an enlightened person with progressive thoughts and was elected as a member of the Hanyang District Federation of Industry and Commerce. After the implementation of the public-private partnership in 1956, the Wuhan Municipal Finance and Trade Office adjusted its commercial outlets, and "Qi Wanshun" moved to West Avenue in Hanyang District, where it merged with Li Jinzhang's "Xiantaoyuan" snack bar. In October 1959, it was moved to Zhongjia Village (current site). In 1963, because of his enthusiasm for serving the masses and the characteristics of running snacks, Qi Haizhou was honored to attend the National Heroes' Meeting. In 1966, it was renamed "Zunyi Restaurant", and in 1972 it was renamed "Hanyang Restaurant".

In 1980, the state invested 320,000 yuan to rebuild the 4-story building and restore the name of "Qi Wanshun Restaurant". The first floor serves snacks, the second floor serves crock pot chicken soup, small steamed buns and flavor stir-fry, and the third floor is named "Fuqin Building", which is equipped with elegant halls such as "Baiyun", "Cuiwei" and "Parrot", which hosts feasts and is famous for operating Beijing and Suzhou cuisine. Famous dishes include chrysanthemum bluefish, comb cinnamon fish, braised blue fish in oil, chopped eggs, wheat ear waist flowers, braised dried silk, etc., and famous snacks include lotus puff pastry, mille-feuille crisp, chrysanthemum puff pastry, moon season crisp and so on. In 1985, its sales volume was 1.5695 million yuan and its profit was 103,900 yuan.

In 1989, in order to meet the needs of the development of the catering industry, the restaurant raised more than 8 million yuan, and once again expanded and renovated a 6-story building with an area of more than 6,000 square meters, which was connected to the Ring Three-dimensional Sky Bridge in Zhongjia Village, with elegant exterior decoration, novel internal facilities, comfortable environment, central air conditioning, elevator welcome, and the interior and exterior were full of garden-style three-dimensional style and era style. The first floor brings together more than 50 kinds of traditional snacks and innovative varieties, set the characteristic snacks of the three towns of Wuhan in one hall; the second and third floors reflect the garden style, with ancient trees towering in the sky, nine days waterfall, small bridge flowing water, Yingge swallow dance and other attractions of the "Drunken Crane Garden" restaurant, serving morning and evening tea and medium and high-end feasts; the fourth floor is full of exotic Hong Kong, Korean catering; the fifth floor provides beauty, fitness, billiards and other entertainment projects; the sixth floor is a luxury bar, dance hall, with Western-style catering, pleasing to the eye.

After the expansion, "Qi Wanshun" has launched famous dishes such as "Wanshun Nourishing Chicken" and "Sixi Fish Cake", as well as famous points such as coconut minced sachets and steamed dumplings with nourishing soup, which are favored by customers. "Wanshun Nourishing Chicken" is made by special chef Wang Zhiming according to the characteristics of Roast Chicken in Anhui Fuliji, Shandong Dezhou, Henan Daokou and so on, and absorbs the essence of the imperial court meal. It uses one to one and a half pounds of tender chicken for meat, slaughters and cleans it to control the dry water, colors it with a wet caramel, and then sets the color by taking the oil. Then use old hens, pork knuckles, beef, chicken claws and other meat raw materials, accompanied by red ginseng, tomorrow hemp, white bean curd, cloves, oil cinnamon and other precious herbs, boiled into a milky white soup, the chicken into the boil for 20 minutes after fishing out, when the soup temperature drops to 50 ° C, and then soak the chicken into the flavor. When loading the plate, the block is changed by a certain knife worker, but it must not lose the original shape of the whole chicken. Today, although there are three big signs of "Qi Wanshun" on the outer wall of Zhongjia Village in Hanyang, the first and second floors of the restaurant are leased to "Cai Linji", and the fourth floor has been leased to another Nanguo Seafood Hot Pot City, and the state-owned assets only rely on rent collection to survive.
