Due to the large slope of the large jump platform, when the snow grooming vehicle works, it is necessary to use the winch to connect the anchor point of the departure area located at 48 meters of the large jump platform, and fix the winch cable on the anchor point to add certain power to the snow groomer, and also play a role in stabilizing and protecting the snow groom through the winch. After the snow groomer pushes the snow onto the ski jump, the wide tracks continuously plough the snow surface during repeated snow pushing, drain the air in the snow surface, press the snow firmly and firmly, and repeat the work repeatedly until the average thickness of the snow in different areas of the big jump is about 0.5 meters to 4 meters.
"The whole process of secondary shaping is to first push the snow that has been created in the end area and the middle of the track evenly onto the track to form a basic layer, and then use snow to shape the starting platform in the starting area and then shape and improve it." Han Bo, deputy director of the venue team competition, has accompanied the shaping experts into the closed loop. He introduced, "Today, 4 experts are familiar with the venue and installing equipment, and they will accurately shape the position, height, elevation angle, parabola length and angle of the starting platform according to the track design scheme of the two competition items of the snowboard big jump and the freestyle ski big jump, so that the angle of the landing slope matches the parabola after the athlete's jump." ”
Secondary shaping and snowmaking work will continue until pre-race and will be officially delivered to the track in early February.
