Rockets coach Silas was interviewed by the media today, in which he talked about Kevin Porter Jr. and Wood.
Silas confirmed that the team would impose a one-game suspension on the two players, but Silas said they were two separate incidents and had no connection. Porter Jr. clashed with assistant coach Lucas at halftime against the Nuggets (questioned by Lucas about the level of effort), while Wood refused to come on as a substitute in the second half (being punished for being late for training and playing as a substitute).
Speaking about Kevin Porter Jr., Silas said: "He's emotional but eager to compete. Potter was a good boy who would admit mistakes after they were made. ”
"It's all bumps in the road to growth." Silas continued.
