"Wang Xingji" began in 1913, its characteristic is "sweet", small dumplings, crab powder wontons, Wuxi ribs and so on are sweet. The founder of the "Wang Xingji" brand is called Wang Ting'an, who is a Tangtou person outside the outer gate of Wuxi. Wang Ting'an's father cooked in Shanghai, and his uncle worked as a cook in Xue Fucheng's house. Wang Ting'an went to the city, cooked in a pawnshop, and because of his stubborn personality, he resigned to start his own business. Wang Ting'an's wife grew up in the fritter business with her parents, and they supported Wang Ting'an in the wonton business.

Wang Ting'an likes to eat wontons since he was a child, so he makes wontons in a different way. After starting his own business, Wang Ting'an began to set up a ravioli stall at shengxiangkou. In 1922, Wang Ting'an opened a wonton shop on Gongyuan Road North Road, named "Wang Xingji", including Chaos, Xiaolongbao, Wuxi ribs, pastries and so on. With the development, Wang Xingji's name is known to everyone in Suzhou, Xi, and Shanghai.
Wuxi Xiaolong, Wang Xingji wontons, fancy noodles, cake dumplings and other series are "Chinese famous snacks". Wang Xingji is also listed as a "Chinese time-honored brand". In 2011, Wang Xingji went abroad and opened his first direct-operated store in Japan.
