According to the US NBA reporter Tim Mac Mahon, sources revealed that due to the trigger of the health and safety agreement players gradually approaching the comeback, the Lone Ranger does not plan to use difficult exceptions to sign other players to replace Thomas Jr.

The Lone Ranger currently has a total of 8 people triggering health and safety agreements, in addition to Thomas Jr., including Doncic, Burke, Knight, Majanovich, Kleber, Hardaway Jr. and McLaughlin.

Thomas Jr. triggered the deal after just one game after signing a 10-day contract with the Lone Rangers, a game in which Thomas Jr. played 13 minutes and had six points and four assists.
