The Bulls beat the Wizards 120-119 to win seven straight, and DeRozan hit the bottom corner in the final moments to hit a difficult whistle!
In the opening game, Vucevic, LaVine and White scored three consecutive three-pointers. On the Wizards side, Beal shot, breakthrough layup, Garford ate cake in a row, Anthony Gill shot long, Kuzma scored three points, the Wizards led 17-11. LaVine went on to hit three three-pointers in a row, including a four-pointer, and he scored 15 points in the first quarter. But Kuzma and Beal played well, with the Wizards leading 32-25 in the first quarter.
In the second quarter Garford dunked consecutively, Pope hit another three points, and the Wizards led by 11 points. In the third quarter, Vucevic and White hit three consecutive points, after which Vuccie hooked a shot and the Bulls trailed to 62-66. Garford has scored four consecutive baskets. LaVine three-pointer, DeRozan hit a mid-range shot, White hit another three-pointer, derrick Jones made a three-pointer at the end of the quarter, made a free throw, and helped the Bulls chase 86-88 in the third quarter!
In the fourth quarter, Beal gave back-to-back assists as the Wizards made an 8-2 start to lead by eight points. Lavin shot in the middle, but Kuzma went on to the basket to give the Wizards a 102-92 lead. White broke through, Derek Jones scored three points, Vucevic back-to-back hookers, LaVine hit the pitch, and the Bulls trailed to 101-103! Kuzma has scored consecutive baskets. Vucevic and Lavin responded. In the final 3 minutes, DeRozan broke through and the Bulls chased to 107-108! Gill hit two free throws, Pope hit a shot, and the Wizards led by five points. At the crucial moment, DeRozan and Vucevic scored consecutive goals and committed fouls, and the two teams fought to 112 draws in the last 2 minutes! Beal broke through the throw, Lavine scored three points, and the Bulls rebounded 115-114! Beal made two foul shots, and DeRozan single-handedly made a foul in response, giving the Bulls a 117-116 lead in the final 49 seconds. Kuzma and Vucevic conceded three consecutive points. In the final 3.3 seconds, Beal assisted Kuzma's three-point shot to give the Wizards a 119-117 comeback! DeRozan's super difficulty whistle three-point kill!
LaVine had 35 points on 7-of-12 three-point range, DeRozan had 28 points, nine rebounds and five assists, Vucevic had 22 points, 12 rebounds and five turnovers, Derek Jones had nine points and two blocks, and White had 20 points and five assists.
Beal had 27 points, 17 assists, four steals, and 17 assists to set a new career record, while surpassing 14,000 career points. Kuzma had 29 points and 12 rebounds, Garford had 19 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks on 9-of-10 10, Keyspert had 10 points, Avdia had 10 points and 6 rebounds, and Pope had 13 points and 8 rebounds.
