On January 2, the reporter saw in Zhujiang Road, Guiyang City, that the 100-meter-long section of the Wangchengpo Subway Station on Zhujiang Road was closed for construction, and vehicles passed by a construction road next to it. It is understood that due to the construction needs of rail transit line S1, the section of Zhujiang Road has been diverted to traffic, and the construction road has been opened recently.
Wangchengpo Station is the terminal station of the first phase of the S1 project of the rail transit, located on the north side of the Pearl River intersection in Nanming District, which is an underground three-story island station, and is constructed by the semi-light and semi-dark construction method. Due to construction needs, Zhujiang Road needs to be rerouted, and it is expected that the original lane traffic of Zhujiang Road will not be restored until December 2024, when the rail transit S1 is completed and opened to traffic.

Due to the long construction period, after receiving the application of the Guiyang Rail Group Construction Branch, the relevant departments of the Guiyang Municipal Public Security Traffic Management Bureau and the person in charge of the Nanming Traffic Police Fifth Squadron, which has jurisdiction over Zhujiang Road, went to the scene for many times to conduct research and demonstration, and coordinated with the Houchao Village Committee of Houchao Township to optimize and adjust the proposed plan many times, and finally built a construction road. The public security traffic management department guides the installation of traffic facilities on the sidewalk and the painting of signs and markings, and vehicles traveling through this section of the road from Nanming to and from xiaohe need to detour from the construction road. At the same time, the opening of this construction road has provided convenience for the villagers of Houchao Village in Nanming District and the residents of the Bayi Reservoir Resettlement Area, and the traffic has become more smooth.
