A hare suddenly sprang out of the grass, saving a general and making the general remember him for life

In the history of China's revolutionary war, countless ancestors were born and died, leaving behind many touching heroic deeds. Among them, there are also some people who, by chance, have unbelievably turned the danger into a disaster at a critical moment facing the test of life and death, which makes people sigh.

The founding general Zhu Liangcai once escaped the disaster because of the sudden appearance of a hare, and the process is quite legendary.

Among the many founding generals, General Zhu Liangcai may not be too well-known, but many of the articles "Zhu De's Flat Burden" that many post-70s and post-80s learned when they were in elementary school were written by Zhu Liangcai himself.

Zhu Liangcai was born in 1900 in Rucheng, Hunan Province, joined the revolution in 1925, and died in 1989. In his decades of military career, he has encountered many dangers, but he has been able to escape from death, the most peculiar of which took place in 1937.

Zhu Liangcai, who was then deputy director of the Political Department and director of the Organization Department of the 30th Red Army, experienced all kinds of hardships of the Red Army's Western Expedition with the troops.

Due to the enemy's encirclement, pursuit, and interception, the Red Army, which lacked clothing, food, and ammunition, was forced into a desperate situation, and the entire unit suffered heavy losses and had to break through by separate routes.

In the early morning of this day, Zhu Liangcai and the others had just prepared to go down the mountain, but they did not expect to meet a large number of "Ma Family Army" on a narrow road, and an encounter began.

The enemy was fierce and vicious, and the Red Army fought to the death, but the balance of power between the two sides was obviously not on the same level. After a fierce battle, many Red Army soldiers fell under the enemy's guns, leaving only Zhu Liangcai and more than a dozen other people still struggling to support.

Although Zhu Liangcai led the warriors to catch a long-term mystery with the enemy, because they had not eaten for four days, their physical strength was seriously weak, and their ammunition was almost exhausted, they were helplessly captured in the absence of a way.

When he was escorted down the mountain by the enemy, Zhu Liang found that there was a mountain beam next to the road, so he suddenly jumped down while the enemy was not ready. Although the enemy fired many shots, they failed to hit Zhu Liangcai, but let him use the complicated terrain to cleverly escape.

Next, Zhu Liangcai continued to endure hunger and struggled to advance towards Yan'an, the holy place of revolution in his heart.

Unexpectedly, he left the tiger's mouth and entered the wolf's den, and Zhu Liangcai walked away for a long time and saw an enemy riding towards him in the distance. Since this was an open area, there was nowhere to hide, and the enemy's horses were fast, it was too late for Zhu Liangcai to escape.

Fortunately, at this time, there was a herdsman who was herding sheep not far away, and the herdsmen also deeply resented the "Ma Jiajun" who usually committed many evil deeds, so he used his sheep to provide cover for Zhu Liangcai, so that the enemy did not discover Zhu Liangcai's existence at all.

After escaping from danger again, Zhu Liangcai took a big detour and continued to walk in the direction of Yan'an. But at this time, his situation was already very bad, first, because he was too hungry to cause serious physical weakness, and second, the wound on his right arm affected his movements, so it was extremely difficult for him to take every step.

There was a pit on the road, Zhu Liangcai stepped on the air, because his body was extremely weak, he fell to the ground, and he could not even climb up.

However, bad luck once again befell him, and just at this moment, another group of enemies appeared in front of him, although the number was small, but it was more than enough to deal with a fallen Zhu Liangcai.

Zhu Liangcai knew very well in his heart that if this fell back to the enemy, he would undoubtedly die, because the enemy would not waste time on a Red Army that could not even walk, but would only kill him on the spot.

At this critical juncture of life and death, Zhu Liangcai told himself: Resolutely cannot give up! Even if only the last breath remains, we must persist until Yan'an!

Thinking of this, a magical force burst out of nowhere, and he actually dragged his extremely weak body into the weeds beside the road.

In the process, the enemy had already sensed it and quickly chased after it. As long as they approached the grass, they would almost certainly find Zhu Liangcai.

At this time, Zhu Liangcai inadvertently found that the grass a few meters away trembled a few times, and he fixed his eyes on it, and it turned out to be a gray hare that was alarmed by the footsteps of the enemy soldiers getting closer and closer, and was probing the brain.

Zhu Liangcai was in a hurry, so he threw out a broken bowl that he had brought with him, and smashed it right next to the hare.

Frightened, the hare suddenly burst out of the grass and ran lifelessly to the other side of the road.

Unexpectedly, the hare's move just attracted the attention of those enemies, and they didn't look at the place where Zhu Liangcai was hiding, so they chased straight to the direction where the hare fled, and shouted loudly: "Haha, it turned out to be a rabbit for half a day, just caught and roasted to eat, to relieve the uncles!" ”

Seeing that the enemy was close at hand and chasing farther and farther away, Zhu Liangcai could not help but sigh secretly in his heart: "I didn't expect that when it was the most dangerous time, it was actually a hare that saved his life. Even if I face greater difficulties, I will continue to walk! We must also insist on going to Yan'an! ”

It was precisely because of the new spiritual strength drawn from this strange experience of escaping from death that Zhu Liangcai overcame many difficulties after that, lasted 36 days, and finally successfully arrived at the Red Army's reception station in Zhenyuan, Gansu Province, and returned to the unit.

In the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, Zhu Liangcai made immortal meritorious achievements, became the founding general of New China in 1955, and served as the political commissar of the Beijing Military Region, and voluntarily withdrew from the leadership post three years later.

Until his old age, General Zhu Liangcai did not hide his arduous and bitter experience in that year, and he was grateful to the hare for life--if it were not for the hare to break the siege in time, then he would not have been able to survive and would not have been able to persist until the day of the victory of the revolution.
