On the east and west sides of the two middle pillars, there is a round carved male lion, brave and strong, with different shapes, standing on the cornerstone of the base. There are many flowers and birds carved on the square, which are varied and lifelike. Above the plaque on the second floor, there are carved pictures of flowers and birds in the four seasons, all represented by high reliefs, and the lotus leaves that roll with the wind are high and protruding; the birds that inhabit the flowers are either moving or static, with different looks. On the east and west sides of the two columns, there are flowers such as peonies, magnolias, plantains, and hydrangeas; on the outside of the side columns are bas-relief wind bamboo and rain bamboo. These flowers and plants are structured rigorously and poetically.

"There is no two squares in the world, except for Yanzhou is Anshang", this folk proverb is a praise for The Stone Fang on the Temple.
