Wuzhou Juyan originated in the Jin Dynasty, flourished in the Tang and Song Dynasties, flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and still paid tribute during the Light Years of the Qing Dynasty, tracing the history of tribute tea for more than 1,000 years. Because of its fragrant and mellow, long aftertaste, and color-like green milk, it is also known as "Wuzhou Green Milk". In the second year of later Shu Mingde (935), Mao Wenxi's "Tea Recipe" recorded that "Wuzhou has a rock tea, although it is small, the taste is extremely sweet and fragrant, and it is fried like green milk". In the 1980s, Wuzhou Juyan ranked first among the four famous teas in Zhejiang Province (Juyan, Longjing, Purple Shoot, mogan yellow bud), and was known as "Maotai in Tea" by the industry. Comrade Xue Ju, former secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, once inscribed "Tea is the national drink, and lifting rocks is excellent"; Wang Meng, former minister of the Ministry of Culture and a famous writer, wrote wuzhou juyan "drinking tea into immortals".
This year, Wuzhou Juyan has achieved a technological breakthrough, taking off the old "coat", replacing it with new packaging, and upgrading its appearance and content again.
