SEGA submitted a report for investors during the late 2021 period discussing the performance related for the year 2021 and looking ahead, with a specific mention of Atlus' new Release of True Goddess Rebirth 5, which they included in the 2021 Sega best-seller list and were pleased with the sales of True Goddess Rebirth 5.
In the report there is the following statement:
The marketing of each of Sega's works in 2021 is very successful, and the recently released "True Goddess Rebirth 5" has a very good sales situation. In its first week of release, True Goddess Rebirth 5 topped the Sales Chart in Japan with 143,000 copies, and was later successfully released in the United Kingdom, and True Goddess Rebirth 5, which was released in the United States, set the highest dollar sales in the same month.
True Goddess Rebirth 5 is the 25th anniversary of the series' orthodox sequel, and perhaps most players are not familiar with the series, but the famous Persona series is actually a spin-off of the orthodox series. It is a JRPG piece worth playing.
