China Ship Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding completed and delivered the first ship in 2022

On the morning of New Year's Day 2022, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, and China Shipbuilding Industry Trading Co., Ltd. signed the delivery of the 210,000-ton Newcastle bulk carrier "ALPHA TROPHY" tailor-made by Greek Alpha Bulkers, which is the first ship completed and delivered by a Chinese shipbuilding enterprise in the new year.

The ship is independently developed and designed by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, its total length is 299.88 meters, the width is 50.00 meters, the depth is 25.20 meters, the speed is 14.5 knots, it meets the requirements of the TIER III emission standard and the latest HCSR common structural specification of the International Maritime Organization, and is classified by DNV and CCS Classification Society, which is a star product with leading technical performance, green environmental protection and energy saving and favored by customers at home and abroad, and has China's "single champion product in manufacturing" and the largest international market share of Chinese ship exports" First Brand" title.

2022 is a year of challenges and expectations. China's first large-scale cruise ship will fully enter the "deep water area" of internal installation and system completion and commissioning, while the construction of the cruise ship No. 2 ship will start, the dual-fuel civilian ship will be delivered centrally, and the 7000TEU container ship will be built continuously.
