Answer: A/B.

On December 31, 1847, on an open-air stage outside Vienna, a performance was underway, conducted by Johann Strauss the Elder. The concert was then turned into a grand ball, and people danced until the next new year's Day, which became the prototype of the Vienna New Year's Concert. The Strauss family is a musical family in Vienna, and his father, Johann Strauss the Elder, and his three sons, Johann Strauss Jr., Josef Strauss jr., and Eduard Strauss, are among the most famous musicians.

The first vienna new year's concert in the true sense of the word was held on December 31, 1939, when Vienna's Musikverein, strauss family dance music and Vienna Philharmonic orchestra combined three necessary elements, the annual festival began. The second concert was held on January 1, 1941, and after that, except for one session suspended for war reasons in 1945, the New Year's Concert was held in the Musikverein as scheduled on January 1 every year. In 1946, the New Year's Concert was officially named the "Vienna New Year's Concert".

The strauss family's works are regulars at New Year's concerts, and the most familiar of these works are two must-dos, the Radsky March and the Blue Danube, known as "Austria's Second National Anthem". There are generally three repertoire, the first is usually a cheerful polka or gallop, and the second and third are the two mentioned above.

Beginning in 1958, the two tracks were fixed. Except for 1967, "Blue Danube" was placed on the official repertoire, and in 2005, due to the tragedy of the Indian Ocean tsunami, the performance of "Radesky March" was finally cancelled that year because the atmosphere of the song was too warm. Usually, when the Radwski March begins, the audience often habitually applauds, a practice that dates back to the days when Boskovsky conducted, and the conductor would turn around and signal the audience to follow the clapping.
