However, China's motorcycles are still more popular abroad than at home. This can be seen in terms of sales.
According to the data released by the China Motorcycle Chamber of Commerce, in the first 11 months of 2021, China's fuel motorcycles created sales of 14.8039 million units, as well as the production of 14.8376 million units, which showed an increasing trend, compared with the same period in 2020, an increase of 16.79% and 17.61% respectively.
Although the overall sales volume has increased, it should be clear that this sales volume includes export and domestic sales data. The report of Huajing Industry Research Institute once said that China is a major exporter of motorcycles, and the annual export data accounts for "half of the overall sales".
In the same period, the export volume of China's motorcycles has reached 8.1397 million units, an increase of 29.57% year-on-year, and the export amount has reached 5.188 billion US dollars. What does this mean? It means that it is said that motorcycles in our country are more popular abroad.

Is the scope of the "ban on motorcycles" still expanding?
Once upon a time, motorcycles were one of the most used means of transportation in China, but for various reasons, in many cities, motorcycle restriction policies were promulgated, which is what we know as "banning motorcycles", which made many "motorcycle friends" feel very distressed, and now "banning motorcycles" seems to be still in progress.
Although some areas have narrowed the scope of the "ban on motorcycles", the main urban areas are still unable to ride motorcycles, and more cities are still expanding the scope of motorcycle bans. For example, On December 27, 2021, Tianjin Municipality issued a new notice, expanding the existing scope of the "ban on motorcycles" again, and the notice took effect from the date of release.

One of the most disturbing is the system of motorcycle scrapping. According to the relevant regulations, the maximum scrap life of motorcycles is 13 years, and many people call it the "13-year scrap system". However, the same is a motor vehicle, industrial products, the car does not have a mandatory scrap of the age limit.
Today's motorcycle industry and the automobile industry, are constantly developing, China's motorcycle parts, engines, etc., every year are also exported to many countries, it can be seen that the industry is also mature. So even after 13 years, many motorcycles can still be ridden safely.

Expert advice: abolish the motorcycle scrapping system
In 2021, at an industry conference, Li Bin, executive vice president of China's Motorcycle Chamber of Commerce, responded to this matter when he attended. As an industry expert, Li Bin said that the abolition of the scrapping system is already a "trend" and is currently actively communicating with relevant departments, but the specific plan has not yet been formulated.
However, this statement has already given many motorcycle owners a "reassuring pill", and perhaps before long, motorcycles will not have to be forced to scrap 13 years. At the same time, Li Bin not only put forward this one suggestion, but also others, he believes that the existing motorcycle driving license is not reasonable, so the future driving license may also be changed.
From this point of view, the industry seems to be developing for the better now, and perhaps it is precisely because of this that these companies will enter the motorcycle industry.
