On December 25, when the snow was heavy in Xi'an, at 3 p.m., the Pediatric Department of the East Branch of the First Affiliated Hospital of Jiaotong University suddenly received a consultation call from the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, and a pregnant woman was about to give birth to a premature baby with a gestational age of 34 weeks (normally 37-40 weeks). When the patient presented, he said that he felt that his fetal movement was reduced in the past 1-2 days, and after examination, he found that the fetus had a manifestation of intrauterine hypoxia and required an emergency caesarean section. At the same time, the mother's situation is more special, not only suffering from gestational hypertension, diabetes, hypothyroidism, systemic lupus erythematosus and other diseases, and many years of infertility. The child's mother repeatedly pleaded that the child did not want it easily, it was a successful IVF that was successful after many attempts, and it was necessary to find a way to stay.
In view of the patient's situation, Director Xue Yan of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director Yang Yonghua reached a consensus after full communication: the maternal condition is critical and it is not suitable for transfer at present; the fetus has intrauterine distress and needs to arrange emergency surgery as soon as possible, and the risk of asphyxia and respiratory distress after birth of the premature fetus is high, and it is necessary to contact the neonatal department of the hospital headquarters for assistance.
