According to the Daily Sports Newspaper, Barca and Christensen have been negotiating for several weeks and hope to reach an agreement as soon as possible.

Christensen's current contract expires on 30 June 2022, the player has no intention of renewing his contract with Chelsea, and Barca club has been in negotiations for weeks with people close to Christensen.

However, according to the rules, Christensen will not be free to negotiate with any club until January 1, but Barca are currently leading the player battle.

According to previous reports, Barca have pre-signed a deal with Azpilicueta that he will join the team in the summer window. Barca hope to reach a franchise agreement as soon as possible in the same way as Christensen.

So far this season, Christensen has made 21 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions, with three assists.
