Beijing, December 29 (China News Network) -- Recently, at the exit of the Jingli Expressway Tunnel, two huge Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic symbols quietly leaned on the slope, attracting people's attention. As one of the three landmark landscapes of the Beijing Winter Olympics Urban Landscape Master Plan, the Jingli Expressway Slope Protection LOGO is the iconic landscape of the Winter Olympics on the road that must pass through the Yanqing Competition Area of the Winter Olympics, and the landscape has been completed recently.

It is understood that the Jingli High-speed Slope Protection LOGO contains the double logos of the Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympic Games - the Emblem of the Winter Olympic Games "Winter Dream" and the Emblem of the Winter Paralympic Games "Leap". The two logos are 33 meters high and 28 meters wide, and are mainly steel structures made of galvanized steel sheets sprayed with fluorocarbon paint. The composition, color and proportion of the emblem are strictly designed with reference to the color code of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games monograms.

Due to the steep slope of the Jingli Expressway slope protection, the volume of the LOGO itself is also quite large, and it is also located on the side of the highway where it is difficult to carry out construction work, so the construction difficulty is extremely high. To this end, the designers actively carried out field visits, and revised and finalized the final design plan many times under the condition of overall consideration of aesthetics and practicality. According to the plan, the parallel distance between the Jingli Expressway slope protection LOGO and the slope protection is 1.5 meters, which does not change the original drainage system and has no impact on the original slope protection drainage. In order to ensure the safety of the LOGO, the foundation of the landscape is deeply embedded in the stable rock mass by 1000 mm, and then C25 is used to irrigate it, so that the foundation and rock mass become a stable whole.

"The location of the Jingli Expressway slope protection LOGO is located between the exit of the Jingli Expressway Tunnel and the Winter Olympic venues, which is a necessary place to enter and exit the Olympic venues. Placing a logo LOGO here can play a good role in marking, fully displaying the image of the city's Olympic Games and setting off the Olympic atmosphere.
