It is understood that the collection activity began on September 1, 2021, lasted 3 months, and collected more than 43,000 paintings for young people. After preliminary screening, a total of 15,000 paintings were selected from various places to enter the judging process. Recently, in accordance with the principles of fairness, justice and openness, a review committee composed of experts from the School of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the School of Art of Chinese University and the relevant departments of the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee selected 7500 works.
Focusing on the Olympic core values of "excellence, respect and friendship", the Paralympic values of "courage, perseverance, motivation and equality", the themes of world peace, friendship and unity, the participating youth expressed their praise for healthy physique and optimism, their love for a better life and their New Year's wishes for the participating athletes, focusing on the knowledge related to the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympic Games, sports, traditional culture and regional features such as the Spring Festival and the Great Wall.

Their works demonstrate the I'm POSSIBLE concept of Paralympic education, the optimistic spirit of Paralympic athletes, the motivating role of outstanding athletes, and the vision of the Paralympic Movement to create equal opportunities for all and build an inclusive world.
According to reports, the selected works will be given as special New Year gifts to the members of the delegations of various countries (regions) participating in the Beijing Winter Olympic games and the Winter Paralympic Games, sending New Year's wishes to friends who have come from afar, and creating a strong "Chinese Year" atmosphere in the Winter Olympic Village.
