Zhenfei struggled bitterly, but it was useless, so under the control of Cui Yugui's eunuch, she was forcibly pulled to the well, riveted with enough strength, and threw her head down, Cui Yugui was afraid that Zhenfei would climb up, and directly covered the entire wellhead with large stones and threw Zhenfei into the well.

At this time, Zhenfei's body had been soaked in the well for a year, and the Guangxu Emperor was very sad, because he could not protect his beloved concubine, so Cixi saw the situation and ordered people to salvage Zhenfei's body, re-bury it, bury it thickly, and let Cui Yugui carry the pot. She said that at that time, she was just angry, and it was Cui Yugui who had to do his own ability and directly pushed Zhenfei down, so Cui Yugui was only stripped of his identity as the second general manager and returned to the Qingwang Mansion.
In fact, Empress Dowager Cixi executed Zhenfei in order to give them a wake-up call for those who insisted on changing the law, which was equivalent to killing chickens and monkeys.
However, everyone who has seen this wellhead knows that the mouth of this well is very small, so how did you throw Zhenfei into it?
It turned out that this wellhead was added by later generations. And for fear that others would fall into it, they also added horizontal iron nails. Moreover, this stone can be removed, originally it was not above this wellhead, as for its previous appearance, it is actually shown in the following figure.

A year after Zhenfei's death, she was approved to be salvaged and finally buried in the western suburb of Tiancun, and later moved to the Chongling Concubine Garden in the QingXi Tombs. After the fall of the Qing Dynasty, Zhenfei's sister Concubine Jin was also on the north side of Zhenfei's well, and the east of Huaiyuan Hall set up a spiritual hall for the sister of the slain chicken and monkey, and also set up a tablet. It seems that her family is indeed very distressed because of the death of Princess Jane.
