Qin Shi Huang laid the foundation for the demise of the Qin Dynasty because of his harsh political atrocities, and the Sui Emperor was killed and destroyed because of his poor military force. Song Renzong was born in the third year of Dazhongxiangfu, that is, in 1010 AD, the sixth son of Emperor Zhenzong of Song, Zhao Heng, and his biological mother was Concubine Li Chen, but Song Renzong was adopted by Empress Zhou from the time he was born, and it was not until the second year of the Ming Dynasty (1033 AD) that Song Renzong pro-government did not know the details. Later, folklore and scripts were interpreted, and the story of tanuki cats changing for princes appeared. In fact, although Empress Zhou concealed the matter of Emperor Renzong's birth mother, she was not harsh on Concubine Li, and under the advice of the chancellor Lü Yijian, she was also buried after death. Therefore, after Emperor Renzong learned the truth, although he was very sad, he did not hold the Zhou clan responsible. The reason why Empress Zhou raised Emperor Renzong was also out of political need and to stabilize her position.
Emperor Renzong was benevolent and filial by nature, generous and kind to people, but he was able to strictly restrain himself, and also encouraged people to develop actively in science, technology and culture. As we know It, Bao Zheng appeared during the reign of Emperor Renzong, when Bao Zheng repeatedly violated his words and made direct remarks, and it is no exaggeration to say that even the spit stars splashed on Emperor Renzong's face. If this were put in front of other emperors, he would not dare to give him ten guts. But Renzong was notoriously good at advice, wiping his face with his sleeves while humbly accepting Bao Zheng's suggestions, and finally did not blame Bao Zheng.
Because of this, he was born during his reign. Famous courtiers such as Ouyang Xiu, Bao Zheng, Fan Zhongyan, Yan Shu, Di Qing, and Pang Zhi were all from the Renzong Dynasty, and Su Xun, Su Shi, Su Rui's father and son, Wang Anshi, Sima Guang, and Zeng Gong also entered politics or emerged during this period.
In addition, Renzong also has the ambition to reform and innovate, is very concerned about the people, and is deeply loved by the people. During his twenty years of peaceful rule, the Northern Song Dynasty had a stable border, prospered economy, developed science and technology and culture, and the people lived and worked in peace and contentment. During the reign of Emperor Renzong, he also invented the world's earliest paper money "Guanjiaozi". Of course, Emperor Renzong also had his own hobbies, that is, he loved calligraphy, and history called him "heavenly and versatile, especially fine calligraphy". Moreover, at the head of the Shinto stele of the ministers at that time, there were many inscriptions of him.
Later, when Emperor Renzong died, not only the people of his own country paid tribute to him, but even the emperor Yelü Hongji, who was far away in Daliao, cried bitterly and built a crown tomb for him.
