Ingredients required:
Beef brisket, green onion, ginger, cooking wine, cooking oil, rock sugar, chili pepper, bean paste, star anise, dried hawthorn, soy sauce

Preparation steps:
Step 1: Put the prepared brisket in a large basin and wash it, then replace it with clean water, add a spoonful of salt, and soak the brisket for about 2 hours. Finally, remove and rinse, chop into small pieces, and rinse again.
Step 2: Pour the cleaned beef brisket into the pot, add cold water, then add green onion, ginger, cooking wine, boil and continue to cook for 2 minutes, finally beat the foam, fish out and put it in cool water to clean.
Step 3: Sauté the sugar color. Turn on low heat, add a little cooking oil and a few rock sugar to the pot, fry until the bubbles are yellow, add a small bowl of boiling water, stir well and pour into the bowl for later (if you don't like to fry sugar color, you can omit this step).
Step 4: Heat the pot and add cooking oil, add green onion and ginger to stir-fry, add an appropriate amount of chili pepper and bean paste according to personal taste, stir well and then put the beef brisket into the pot and stir-fry over high heat.
Step 5: Add soy sauce, sugar color (if you don't like it, you can use old soy sauce to color), a little salt, stir-fry evenly, add two star anise and a few pieces of dried hawthorn, then add an appropriate amount of boiling water, and then pour it into the rice cooker together, press the corresponding function key.
Step 6: When the rice cooker stops working, pour the cooked beef brisket into the wok, pick out the star anise and hawthorn, collect the juice on high heat, and then add the appropriate amount of chicken essence according to personal taste, sprinkle a little green onion to plate.
