According to ESPN, Manchester City will not buy a striker in January to replace the departing Felan Torres, they will wait until next summer to strengthen the front line.

Yesterday City officially announced that Felan Torres left the team to join Barcelona for a transfer fee of 55 million euros, plus additional terms worth 10 million euros.

But according to people familiar with the matter to ESPN, Manchester City do not plan to buy a striker to replace Ferran in January, and they will use the money from the sale of players to wait until the summer to strengthen the front. The club are still interested in Kane and Haaland is one of their targets.

Academy graduate Cole Palmer is expected to play a more important role in the first team for the rest of the season.
