IT House December 28 news, this morning, Steam announced the list of the best-selling games of 2021. The list is based on game sales, in-game transactions, and DLC sales from January 1, 2021 to December 15, 2021.
IT House learned that in 2021, there are 6 games debuting in platinum seats (1st - 12th), including New World, Temple of Heroes, Eternal Destruction, Apex Heroes, Battlefield 2042, and Kill by Daylight.
More than a third of the games on the entire best-selling list are on the list for the first time. Many of these games are new to 2021, and some are released earlier.
At the same time, many of the old titles continue to be successful on Steam. "Dota 2", "CS:GO", "GTA5" have been in the platinum seat for 6 years; "PUBG", "Rainbow Six: Siege" are four platinum seats; "Destiny 2" has been ranked in platinum for three consecutive years since its release in 2019.
