Although I entered the pit late, I have always wanted to get a high-brightness small steel cannon to play, X80GT this "multi-eyed monster" is pleasing to the eye, and the performance is also comfortable. However, this year's big killer new products emerge in an endless stream, is hesitating whether to enter the new product room, the newly upgraded X80GT2 turned out, not to say more, the first price directly won. The packaging is very large, and it can be seen through the box painting that the new packaging should be used as a future X80 series. The corner of the box is printed with the three models of the X80 currently available, namely the X80GT, X80UV and X80GT2.

The attached handle is thick and thick, so you don't have to install it in winter, and it's not bad to be a hand warmer when it's bright. And without the handle, the portability is also better.
The aluminum alloy cylinder of the military three-stage oxidation treatment has a normal function at a depth of 30 meters (non-professional diving flashlight, can not work underwater). It is 11.7mm long, the head and barrel diameter are 65/49mm respectively, and it is not a problem to hold it with one hand, that is, it weighs heavier under the full load after carrying the battery (the bare barrel weighs 330 grams).

As a high-performance small steel cannon, the X80GT2 is equipped with 18 new XHP 50.3 LED beads from CREE. Its maximum brightness is up to 34,000 lumens (in POWER mode). Compared with the previous generation X80GT's 50.2, the 32500 extreme brightness increase is limited, but the light intensity is nearly doubled (from 34700 to 61900 Kande position), and the range has reached 498 meters (X80GT is 373 meters). Therefore, the overall performance improvement is still relatively obvious.
X80GT2 in the design and size details should be no different from X80GT, but there is no previous generation at hand for reference, just put more close-ups, friends who have X80GT at hand can make their own comparison. The X80GT2 is a relatively delicate and attractive of many small steel cannons, its barrel is relatively small, the fine knurled flowers are full of feel, and the thick heat dissipation fins are conducive to heat dissipation.
As for whether the logo on the barrel is aligned with the barrel head button and the indicator light, the personal feeling has little impact, except for perfectionists and obsessive-compulsive disorder patients.
The stainless steel pressure ring appears to be treated by stone washing process. The electronic switch in the middle of the barrel head has a large area and can be operated with gloves. The X80GT2 defaults to ECO mode (maximum brightness of 21,000 lumens), and can be switched to POWER mode (up to 34,000 lumens) with ten quick hits in the shutdown state. Flash three/two times each when switching between modes to make a difference. It is still easy to get started after familiarization.
The tail cover of the X80GT2 is rubberized and sealed, so you don't have to worry about the problem of tight screwing on the back cover.
The current batch of X80GT2s are all 6500K cold white. The next one should be the one that will launch, but it will take time. The X80GT2 has a large flood area, and the range of this improvement is also longer in terms of appearance and perception. This makes it suitable for more use cases, and does not require an additional long-range canister because the range is too short.

Direct night shooting on the day of arrival: The X80GT2 has a total of seven constant brightness gears and a burst mode, with a low brightness of 220 lumens (4100 lumens under the flash). In any state, double-click the polar light, and then double-click directly to enter the super bright.
There was smog that night, the flashlight was already bright in extreme light, the big flood light + high brightness made the whole environment shine like day, and the ruins exploration or outdoor cave exploration was better.
The center light intensity is greatly increased in extreme light, and although it is a large flood, you can still see a clear pillar of light.
The X80GT2 still has a certain long-range shooting capability, and it can be seen on the floors and walls not far away. However, the super bright road is a bit white and overexposed.
Winter in the north is particularly cold, and it is just a hand warmer to shine in extreme light for a while (it can continue to output for about a minute when it is super bright). The flashlight is intelligently temperature controlled to ensure safe use.
Summary: ACEBEAM X80GT2 has not changed much in appearance compared to the previous game, but the performance has been greatly improved. And this upgrade does not increase the price. If you want to add a fever-grade high-performance small steel cannon to yourself, among the many new products, the X80GT2 is a more balanced choice in all aspects.
