Note: Xu Fanting, a native of Xishe Village, Dingxiang County, Shanxi Province, is a famous anti-Japanese patriotic general and poet. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Dissatisfied with Chiang Kai-shek's policy of non-resistance, Xu Fanting, dissatisfied with Chiang Kai-shek's policy of non-resistance, killed himself in front of the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, advised Chiang Kai-shek to resist Japan with his death, and later cooperated with the Communists to create the Shanxi New Army, and served as the director of the Northwest Jin Administrative Office, and died of illness in 1947 at the age of 54. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China posthumously recognized him as a full member of the Communist Party of China on the basis of his application before his death.
