Tesla's "Premium Connectivity" service (premium web package) is a convenient service that provides Tesla owners with a variety of features. It is currently available on a monthly subscription, but that may change in the future.
Elon Musk, the company's chief executive, said offering the service as an annual subscription is an interesting idea, which could hint that it will come soon.

Network connectivity is an important part of all Tesla cars, and some features need to be implemented through data connections, such as streaming music and media, real-time traffic visualization, etc., which further enhance the driving experience. All models come with a standard internet connection, and with the exception of basic maps, navigation, and playing music via Bluetooth, it can only access most connection features via Wi-Fi.
In addition to Wi-Fi connectivity, "Premium Connectivity" offers the ability to access all connectivity features over a cellular network for the most intuitive and engaging experience. The service includes navigation, real-time traffic visualization, satellite view maps, video, karaoke, streaming music, and internet browsers. Currently, Premium Connectivity costs $9.99 a month, but a more attractive program may emerge soon.
Tesla owner BLKMDL3 recently proposed the idea of upgrading advanced connectivity to the company's CEO Elon Musk. He said it would be a good addition if it were possible to buy a year-long service at a better price.
Musk expressed high appreciation for the suggestion, writing: "It's a good idea. This may suggest that in the future the company may consider such a service payment option. While achieving more profits for the company, it also benefits the owners.
