"From ancient times to the present, the eradication of poverty has been the common ideal of mankind." Chen Wei, the general director of the opera "Luanfeng Bridge", said that the opera reflects the Chinese nation's deep desire to get rid of poverty and have enough food and clothing.
According to reports, the opera "Luanfeng Bridge" lasted more than a year of polishing, and with the background of the main leaders of the Ningde Prefectural Committee in the late 1980s and early 1990s who went deep into the party townships to conduct field research and guidance, it told the story of the villagers in the lower party townships of Shouning County, Ningde City, who carried forward the spirit of "weak birds flying first, dripping water through stones", overcoming many difficulties, and striving to get rid of poverty.
The opera invited Qian Xiaotian, one of the most active playwrights in the field of Chinese musical theater, to co-compose the script, the Fujian composer Zhang Shaotong, who has won the Best Music Award of the Golden Rooster Award of Chinese Cinema three times, and Chen Wei, a famous director and performance educator, as the general director, and formed a first-class creative team in the country.
"Sing for the people." Zhang Shaotong, a composer from Fujian, said that the overall style of music is simple and full of local flavor, and at the same time, it has the heroic sound of the times and the love for the poor people in mountainous areas. The music uses the musical elements of mindong folk songs and She's folk songs to make it more grounded, and at the same time, it closely follows the artistic rules of opera music and unfolds music in various forms to make it more infectious.
In the past, Xiadang Township, located deep in the mountains, was a "five-no-township" with no roads, no electric lights, no running water, no office space, and no financial income, and it took more than 10 kilometers to reach the four neighboring townships.
After more than 30 years of continuous struggle, today's dangxiang, the natural graben has changed its way, giving birth to a number of homestays, farmhouses and various tourism formats; relying on ecology and industry, the development of customized tea gardens, grapes, oil tea, navel oranges, alpine vegetables and other "one village, one product" pattern, out of a people rich, ecological beauty of the rural revitalization road. The Xiadang Township Party Committee was awarded the honorary title of "National Model for Poverty Alleviation".
"Tell the story of Ningde well, tell the story of China well." Liu Guoping, vice chairman of the Ningde Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the Ningde Municipal Committee of the Revolution, who served as the artistic director of the opera Luanfeng Bridge, said that as the first opera in Ningde, it carries the expectations of Ningde people for local cultural works, hoping that more people will enter the theater, feel the power and warmth of the times, and feel the light of Eastern Fujian.
