Exterior design
In terms of front design, the Royal Wind P16 still gives people a more traditional texture, the intake grille adopts an inverted trapezoid surrounded by a black border, the brand logo and the central banner use silver chrome, and cover part of the black staggered grid in the actual intake area. The front bumper maintains the three-zone separation style commonly used by pickup trucks, with fog lights embedded in the diversion holes at both ends, while the central position is the lower air hole and trapezoidal motion guard plate, and the tilt disposal method can slightly expand the approach angle of the vehicle.
Headlight design, near and far lights, turn signals are relatively clear, they are each with a slender strip of metal to wrap the lighting range of the lamp cavity, through the transparent shade can see the functional division within the headlight, all the design is still based on practicality. However, considering the road conditions that pickup trucks need to deal with, the headlights are still slightly extended sideways to expand their warning range.
In terms of side design, it can be seen that although the Royal Wind P16 has a body size of 5219/1870/1844mm and a wheelbase of 3100mm, its front structure is still dominated by the crew compartment, and the separation of the rear cargo compartment and the crew compartment is relatively good. At the same time, the fixed pedals are conducive to higher ground access, and the window decoration is made of black hard plastic strips, but unfortunately the wheel eyebrows lack some additional encirclement protection.
In the rear design, the rear cargo compartment has a fixed frame at the front end, the cargo compartment door can be manually opened, and the necessary reflective stickers are posted; the protective encirclement of the rear bumper is better than the front face, in addition to the hard plastic anti-collision structure, it is also wrapped with metal materials on the side to reduce the impact of scraping and wear on the body, and provides upper and lower steps. In the taillight design, the longitudinal layout avoids the impact on the tailgate structure, and although its light source is fully halogen, the layout of the large size and multi-lamp bead particles can still provide good lighting accessibility in rain and fog weather.
Interior design
In the central control design, the symmetrical design with curvature is still based on the T-shaped layout, and the upper and lower panel structures that run through the left and right bring a certain layering. The main functional operations are all concentrated in the lower end of the central screen and the air outlet, and the knobs and buttons are not designed, but this combination of operation is more convenient. The steering wheel provides multi-function buttons for quick multimedia adjustments, while the gear shift mechanism is simple and has no superfluous button layout.
In terms of decorative materials, except for the seat and armrest box, all the interval decoration is mainly based on the plastic molding process, but there will be subtle differences in the surface process and graininess at different levels of the center console. However, there will be a large metal hemming design under the center console to improve durability, while a small number of soft bags are present at the door panel.
On the vehicle system, don't look at this is a low-cost pickup truck, but the Royal Wind P16 still got a central control color screen, although it is a traditional resistance screen design, can include navigation, Bluetooth calling, multimedia and other functions it can be realized, and even it also gets 8-9 speaker horn support in the whole car, completely different from the long-distance driving will be very boring.
In terms of on-board configuration, although the Royal Wind P16 does not match the reversing effect, it provides a rear parking radar and a cruise control system in the auxiliary driving; and most of the functional accessories in the cabin are manually adjusted, including the steering wheel, the inner rearview mirror anti-glare, the air conditioning system, etc., but this also shows that the specific practical functions are readily available.

Mechanical structure
In terms of powertrain, the Royal Wind P16 is equipped with a 1.9T turbo diesel engine, which has a maximum power of 110 kW and a maximum torque of 350 N·m, and matches a 6MT gearbox on the transmission. Thanks to the characteristics of the diesel engine with low turn and high torque, its energy consumption and multi-road conditions start driving are relatively good, and the four-wheel drive system it provides can also achieve three modes: high-speed two-wheel drive, high-speed four-wheel drive and low-speed four-wheel drive.
On the chassis suspension, the Royal Wind P16, developed on a non-load-bearing platform, carries a set of double wishbond suspension with coil springs on the front axle, and a leaf spring suspension on the rear axle, which provides better steering lateral support, and the latter has a relatively high rigidity to help pickup trucks cope with more complex road changes.
