Yesterday, the "Fujian Cuisine Tasting Promotion Meeting" was held at the Fuzhou Juchun Garden Convention and Exhibition Hotel, and the "Eight Fujian Snack Carnival" activity was held simultaneously, attracting more than 400 merchants from all over the country to visit and taste.

As one of the eight major cuisines in China, Fujian cuisine is the crystallization of the prosperity and development of Fujian's food culture for thousands of years. At the promotion meeting, a feast of food struck, and more than 10 exquisite Fujian dishes appeared one after another, including traditional Fuzhou famous dishes such as Buddha jumping off the wall, chicken soup and sea mussels, as well as special dishes from all over Fujian such as shacha beef ribs, bad fragrant yellow croaker, and wufu stuffed lotus seeds, which fully demonstrated the essence of Fujian cuisine. Fujian, as a major tea-producing province, at the promotion meeting, jasmine tea, Wuyi rock tea and Fuding white tea have also become the "favorite" of merchants, and the tea aroma in the venue is lingering, and the lips and teeth are fragrant.

On the other side, the "Eight Fujian Snack Carnival" activities are also very lively. Osmanthus horseshoe cake, Shunchang egg filling, crispy bamboo tofu... The 60 special snacks made merchants from all over the world feast their eyes at the same time.

Wang Shuming, a Fuqing man who has been engaged in foreign trade in Russia for a long time, said: "When I live abroad, I miss the taste of my hometown every once in a while. He was very happy to be able to eat the bad meat light cake clip at the "Eight Fujian Snack Carnival", which allowed him to solve the "nostalgia on the tip of the tongue".

The busiest person on the scene is also Chen Junfan, the fourth generation of Tongli Meat Swallow, who warmly entertains merchants at the carnival: "Eating a bowl of Tongli Meat Swallow in Fuzhou can bring peace home, which is the hospitality of Fuzhou." Chen Junfan also specially brought the tools for hammering swallow skin to the scene to show the guests the bird's nest making process.

"Fujian cuisine is famous for cooking mountain treasures and seafood, on the basis of excellent color and flavor, its knife workmanship, exquisite soup dishes, endless changes, especially 'fragrant' and 'taste', with fresh, mellow, meaty, not greasy style characteristics, cooking methods are diverse." Yang Jie, deputy general manager of Fuzhou Juchunyuan Group, introduced that on the occasion of the 4th 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Expo and the 23rd Cross-Strait Economic and Trade Fair held in Fuzhou, the Fujian Cuisine Tasting Promotion Conference and the "Eight Fujian Snack Carnival" as supporting activities aimed at further disseminating and promoting Fujian characteristic culture with Fujian cuisine as the medium.
