Rainmaker.gg and StreamElements have released their 2021 Streaming Survey Report. According to the report, the most popular game on the Twitch live streaming platform in 2021 is "New World", but "New World" has only 259 million hours of audience viewing time, ranking 18th among the most viewed games on Twitch.
In addition, Last Year's #1 League of Legends is in second place this year, with a total of 1.8 billion viewing hours. League of Legends is followed by Fortnite, Valorant, Minecraft, Call of Duty: Warzoney, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, APEX Heroes, and DOTA2.
Overall, Twitch's total watch time in 2021 increased by 45% over last year to 24 billion hours.
