The purpose of this conference is to fully excavate the significance of the "Jiangxi prose phenomenon" by studying the achievements of Jiangxi prose writers in recent years, fully display the prosperity of Jiangxi prose in the national literary circle, and promote the further improvement of Jiangxi literary creation in the future.

In recognition of the essay collection "Juror's Notes" by Chao Yan, a young female writer of the Jiangxi She ethnic group, which won the Prose Award of the 12th National Ethnic Minority Literary Creation Horse Award, at this conference, the Jiangxi Provincial Writers Association awarded a prize of 100,000 yuan to Chao Yan and held an award ceremony.

More than 50 people, including Liu Shangyang, former member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial CPC Committee, director of the Propaganda Department, and essayist Liu Shangyang, as well as Jiangxi essayists Luo Mingming, Shi Hongxu, Peng Wenbin, Dou Jie, Fu Yuli, Luo Zheng, Cai Ying, Wu Xiangchun, Yang Baozhen, Wang Jun, Zhong Xinqiang, Cheng Yangsong, Zhang Lei, Ouyang Guo, Jiang Qinfeng, Weng Huantong, Zeng Yaxian, Zhang Fulin, and Chen Zhihong, attended the meeting.

During the event, the participating writers and critics collectively went to Liyuzhou Five-Star Farm to collect styles, and went deep into the front line of production and life such as Liyuzhou Cultural Center, Zhiqing Cultural Wall, Peking University, Tsinghua Former Site, and White Crane Protection Community, accumulating literary creation materials and constantly broadening the ideas of prose creation.
