Gallo Polo's game is hard to say!
Finally, we're in week 16 of the regular season, and now any game is critical to playoff spots. Thursday night's game was a head-to-head meeting between two teams struggling for playoff spotups. The Tennessee Titans face the San Francisco 49ers at home. Titans star receiver AJ Brown returned in this game, how much impact can he have on the game?
Section 1
In the first wave of attacks after the opening, the 49ers from afar took the lead. Running back Jeff Wilson's dash in front of the end zone helped the 49ers build a seven-point lead first.
Subsequently, 49ers star passer Nick Bossa gave the Titans a lot of pressure in defense, completing a large-size line after the tackle, mainly on the road.
The 49ers offensive group hit the red zone with a bang, but failed to translate into points. Quarterback Jimmy Gallopollo's pass looking for George Kitter was intercepted by Titans veteran cornerback Janoris Jenkins in the midfield. The Titans regained the ball while regaining morale.
But the 49ers' defensive group is still tough. Star center-back Fred Warner again rejected the Titans' advance for AJ Brown's line-back tackle.
Section II
49ers star receiver Dipo Samuel then stepped forward. He forced off multiple tackles, converted a goal that would have been a grab behind the line into a positive yard advance, gave the team a chance to shoot a free kick, and completed the shot to rewrite the score to 10-0.
Subsequently, the three-stop tackle of forward passer Denik Otley created a chance for the attacking group, leaving enough time for the final attack. Unfortunately, the offensive group was not able to help the Titans score.
Half-time scoring
Section III
Moving into the second half, the Titans also began their counterattack. They first completed a free-kick shot to close the score. Gallopol's first pass attempt of the second half was then intercepted by Titans security guard Armani Hooke. Gave the team a good chance to overtake.
Naturally, the Titans' offensive group did not let this good opportunity slip away. Running back Deonta Fuhrman's dashing touchdown helped the Titans equalise, bringing the two teams to the same running line.
Section IV
After blocking a four-gear battery from the 49ers, the Titans were once again given a chance to score. AJ Brown, who just returned this week, received a pass from quarterback Ryan Tannshire in the end zone to complete the touchdown to help the Titans take the lead for the first time in the game.
The trailing 49ers then plotted a counterattack. At this point, Samuel showed his heroic qualities and completed a large-size punch of 56 yards, pushing the ball into the first 6 yards of the Titans' end zone.
Subsequently, Gallopol's outside receiver in the end zone of the line, Brandon Ayyuk, completed the pass touchdown, and once again pulled the two teams back to the same running line.
The Titans got a chance to make a final attack at the end of 2:20. What everyone did not expect was that Tannishil actually used his legs to run into the shooting range, giving the kicker a good shooting position. Kicker Randy Bullock scored with a 44-yard free-kick that helped the Titans complete a cross-cutting 4 seconds before the end of the game. The 49ers failed to make their final attack, and the Titans won at home.
After the game, the Titans won their 10th win of the season, and the record reached 10-5, with the Champions League's Southern Division just around the corner. Although the 49ers lost, the 8-7 record still occupied the initiative in the competition for the national league wild card quota, but the Saints, Eagles and Vikings behind them were still eyeing the tiger. For the 49ers' loss, the happiest team besides the Titans is the Dallas Cowboys. After the 49ers lost, the Cowboys became the second team to qualify for the playoffs after the Packers.
AJ Brown's comeback is really too important for the Titans!
