In recent years, Cangwu County has taken the Liupao Tea Industrial Park as the carrier, introduced leading enterprises, introduced new technologies and new equipment, promoted the deep processing of tea, increased the comprehensive utilization of tea, and promoted the integration of tea tourism, and the development of the Liupao tea industry has achieved remarkable results. At present, the direct output value of Liupao tea in the county has reached 670 million yuan, the comprehensive output value has reached 1.5 billion yuan, and there are 18 tea enterprises and 93 farmers' professional cooperatives, which have driven more than 20,000 people to work.
At present, the county will focus on the weak links in scientific research, production and sales of Liupao tea, introduce policy support, increase financial subsidies, do a good job in tea culture, tea industry, tea technology three "articles", deeply integrate the Liupao tea industry with rural revitalization, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the Liupao tea industry. From this year to 2023, the county strives to reach a comprehensive output value of 12.5 billion yuan in the Liupao tea industry; enters the top 20 tea-producing counties in the country, and strives to cultivate more than 1 Liupao tea enterprise with an annual output value of more than 100 million yuan and 5 Liupao tea enterprises above the cultivation scale.
Nowadays, the townships in Cangwu are setting off a new round of planting Liupao tea, and the cadres of various relevant departments have descended to the village group to carry out a series of work such as nursery base site selection, land circulation, and policy publicity.
