Previously, foreign media has taken spy photos of the new car, and the new car basically maintains the appearance design of the original model, but adds a spoiler similar to a wind knife on both sides of the bumper, and a vent has also been added behind the front fender, which can be seen that the new car will have a certain improvement in aerodynamics and heat dissipation. The most conspicuous appearance is the new large spoiler at the top of the rear, which will also provide additional downforce for the new car at high speeds.
It is reported that the new car will provide 4 body colors, namely pearl white, pearl black, speed red and matte gray, of which matte gray is likely to be the matte storm gray metallic color that appeared on the GR SUPRA model before, and is limited to 50 units. In addition, in order to pursue better body stability, the width of the new car has also increased by 10 mm compared with the original model, to 1815 mm.
The new car will be available in three versions, including the basic model, the street version and the mountain road rally version, which are named in a way that already explains their different positioning orientations, and according to its positioning, each version of the model will also have a unique adjustment method. The new car will continue to be powered by a 1.6T three-cylinder turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 272 horsepower and peak torque that may be increased to 390 Nm, matching a 6-speed manual transmission and a four-wheel drive system. The new car has also reportedly adjusted the torque distribution logic of the all-wheel drive system and upgraded the mechanical LSD limited-slip differential, which has also been reinforced to carry more torque.
