In the golden autumn, more than 100 acres of oil sunflowers in the waterfront ecological park of Xia gezhuang Town, Pinggu District, Beijing open for the first time.
The waterfront ecological park used to be a privately built and sewage-flowing farming community, and after the improvement of the living environment in October 2018, it was gorgeously transformed into a "natural oxygen bar", planting plants such as Begonia Xifu, hawthorn trees, acacias, peaches, magnolias and other plants, becoming a good place for people to exercise and relax.
In the summer of 2021, the towns of each village upgraded the waterfront ecological park again, planting nearly 200 mu of oil sunflowers to help rural revitalization.
