The allocation of seats in the speed skating event at the Beijing Winter Olympics is determined by the points and athletes' best results in the four speed skating races (Poland, Norway, the United States and Canada) in the 2021/22 season.
The Chinese team achieved full participation in the women's event, and the specific quotas were: 500 meters (2), 1000 meters (3), 1500 meters (3), 3000 meters (2), 5000 meters (1), group departure (2), group chase (1). In the men's event, the Chinese team qualified for the 5000 m and 10,000 m except for the small events, the specific quota is: 500 m (2), 1000 m (2), 1500 m (2), group departure (1), team chase (1).
